Commissions

Much of Scott's work is on commission from private collectors or companies. All commissions are created specifically for the location in which they will be displayed, whether a private home or garden or a permanent museum or visitor centre exhibition.

Scott works in a variety of media, but cold cast bronze and resin are the two most popular choices for commissioned sculptures and models. This 1:300 scale model of Stirling Castle was created in resin for display in the Regimental Museum in Stirling Castle as part of the permanent exhibition.

Each commission is destined to be displayed in a specific location, so Scott visits each site if appropriate before scuplting to understand the location, angles of view, lighting scheme and context.
